IN CLASS

INTRODUCTIONS & COURSE OVERVIEW

  • Classroom Seating Assignments

    • At the start of our first in-person class each student attending on campus (in the B section) needs to select a seat that you will use for the duration of the semester. We'll do this again for the A section in Week 02. You should then record your seat selection using the new Classroom Seating Assignments tool in NYU Classes. Please note that seats are numbered and should not be moved to another location in the classroom.

  • YOU

    • INTRODUCTIONS! We will go around the "zoom" and the room, so you can introduce yourself. Please share one "fun fact" about yourself, and if you're not in NYC, let us know where you're connecting from!

  • Syllabus Policies/Expectations/Goals

    • Please direct message me (Carla Gannis) on slack if you find any broken links or typos here.

    • Meeting in breakout rooms. Each group will spend 15 minutes looking through the syllabus/course website, and forming any questions you have for the instructor. RETURN

    • Discussing student questions

    • Discuss course & learning objectives in syllabus

    • Discuss asynchronous and synchronous learning environments and blended classroom options

    • Reading the weekly schedule
