PREPARING FOR FINAL PRESENTATIONS WEEK 14
(1) You can upload a playable Unity file (APK) build for each student to experience in their Quests DEMO IN CLASS
(2) You can prepare screen recorded video of your experience.(this can be recording in Oculus Quest or for those of you using the link, recording from the Unity Play window with screen recording software like OBS, or Unity's Built in Screen Recorder) DEMOS IN CLASS
(3) If functionality is still a work in progress, you can present Unity file and play mode with FPS (see tutorials Unity Tutorials 01) headsets. DEMO IN CLASS
PRESENTATION ORDER: ALL SINGLE PRESENTATIONS WILL BE 13 MINS Cameron Maham Katelynn Ash Douglas Kevin Tinrey Wei Wei Prakriti Monica Chester Junnan GROUP PRESENTATION WILL BE 24 MINS Lily, Ben, Jenny, Irwin, Sally (*each student should present aspects of the project, and the specific parts of the project they worked on, in addition to a full demo [video or APK] of the project
PRESENTATION GUIDELINES: As stated above, there are several ways in which you can present your Macro Project, as an APK file that other students can sideload to their Quests to View along with you (this will not be social however, each person will be playing a different instance of your project. You can also show a screen recording or your project (between 5 and 8 minutes) or you can show us the project in the Unity Environment in Play Mode.
You do not need to show research materials (flow diagrams, use cases, persona's etc... for this presentation), however providing a brief synopsis of your project, any user testing analysis you have done (if possible), and comparison/contrast to the original scope of your project to your final prototype. If this project is part of ongoing research include that. If themes, technologies, etc... that you have explored in this project have inspired you in your practice, (this can be outside of XR), include this. If there are any elements in the project that are a consequence of the first virtual object or experience you shared and/or your dream study, 1st person field study, VR play experience, or CollabVRation project, include.
For your FINAL DELIVERABLES, please prepare a 3-10 minute documentation video of your Macro Project. This should be uploaded with all sources files and assets to your Student Folder on the Class Google Drive. This will be due, along with your fully updated blog on Dec 12th.
