CLASS PRESENTATION OF COLLABVRATION ASSIGNMENT (crit)

A FEW PRESENTATIONS GUIDELINES : "Art, in itself, is an attempt to bring order out of chaos.โ€ Stephen Sondheim

  • 3 Groups (15 minutes presentation, 10 minute Q & A) Group Order of Presentation: 3, 2,1

    • GROUP 01: Saki (UX), Dhruv (UX), Deborah (Producer), Shrek (Programmer), Yueting (Artist), Yalta (Artist)

  1. NO APOLOGIZING for any aspect of your presentation. If something is not quite right, DO NOT let your audience know. If something isnโ€™t working correctly skip it (if possible). Speak with confidence and conviction about the project you are presenting. Pretend this is โ€œreal worldโ€ in the sense that youโ€™re out of school and trying to get funding for a project, and you need to convince your audience to believe you know what youโ€™re doing and that your project is worthwhile.

  2. Q&A should include โ€œconstructive criticism.โ€ (Constructive criticism is the process of offering valid and well-reasoned opinions about the work of others, usually involving both positive and negative comments, in a friendly manner rather than an oppositional one. The purpose of constructive criticism is to improve the outcome). You are doing each other a great service in discussing the works critically!
