BIO: Effie is a former interactive installation creative technologist, former designer, former web developer, former internationally exhibited digital artist, former performance artist, former experimental electronic musician, former studio co-founder, and current instructor of Creative Coding and Intro to Web at NYU's IDM. Effie's cross disciplinary (“TRANSxGENRE’D”) work often explores themes of isolation, corporate influence in a digitally connected world, the nature of identity and gender, and engages heavily with Culture Jamming, Remix Culture, and living on the fringes. /
